The Groove Line is a line around notes that is made using a hammer and Flat Punch. Groove Lines used to be the main way to separate notes from their neighbors. Today the Groove Line is more of a cosmetic reference than anything else. Creating a neat, consistent Groove Line takes considerable skill.
